bet365 Authentication

As part of our licensing agreements, sometimes we need to be able to verify that you are in the country that your account has been registered in.

With that being the case, the bet365 Authenticator App allows you to verify your location when using mobile and desktop devices.

How do I download the Authenticator App?

Please select the software system that your device uses to learn how to download the authenticator app.

iOS

Navigate to the App Store.
Search for “bet365 Authenticator App”.
Select Get.

Android

Navigate to the Play Store.
Search for “bet365 Authenticator App”.
Select Install.

Location Services

Setting permissions correctly will ensure the app can confirm your location, enabling full access to our services. You will also need your camera permissions to be active, as you’ll be required to scan a QR code for verification.

How to Use the Authenticator App

Before placing any bets, you may be required to verify your location through the authenticator app. Please see below for instructions depending on the device you are using.

Mobile Browser

Make your selections, enter your wager, and select Place Bet.
A pop-up will appear on your mobile browser informing you that you need to verify the bet.
Select I have the app.
Once selected, the Authenticator App will load and a message will appear confirming that the verification was a success.

PC or Laptop

Make your selections, enter your wager, and select Place Bet.
A QR code will appear on your browser informing you that you need to verify the bet.
Load the bet365 Authenticator App on your mobile device and select Tap To Authenticate.
Ensure that the whole of the QR code is visible in the camera and wait until the scan is complete.
Once complete a message will appear confirming that the verification was a success.
