Safety Net Bet Terms and Conditions
Qualifying
1. This promo is available to eligible customers only.
2. Opt in via the pod or page within ‘Rewards’ prior to making your selections. You will only be able to see the Safety Net Bet within the bet slip upon being opted in.
3. To qualify for this promo, opt in and add your qualifying bet to the bet slip, enter your cash wager amount, select 'Use Safety Net Bet' and place the bet. If your qualifying bet loses, you will be refunded in Bonus Bets capped at the maximum value stated in your bet slip.
4. Safety Net Bet will apply to your chosen bet once 'Use Safety Net Bet' is selected on the Bet Slip. If you place two or more bets on the same Bet Slip, only the selection that has been nominated as the Safety Net Bet will qualify.
5. Where a qualifying bet is placed on a market that can be settled as part won and part loss, for example a Win/Place or Asian Line bet, the Bonus Bet refund received will be the difference between the original wager and the returns received. For example, if you place a $5 Win/Place bet totalling $10 using a Safety Net Bet that is settled as a Place with total returns of $8, you would receive $2 in Bonus Bets. If the returns received are greater than the original wager, no Bonus Bets will be credited and the promo will be closed.
6. If you are eligible for a refund, your Bonus Bets will be added to your Bonus Bets balance within 24 hours of the qualifying event/competition finishing.
Restrictions
7. Only bets placed with cash are eligible to receive this promo. Where your qualifying bet is funded partly with cash and partly with Bonus Bets, only losses from the cash part of your bet will be refunded in Bonus Bets.
8. Where your qualifying bet is Cashed Out, the promo will no longer apply.
9. Bets deemed no action or bets which are settled as a push will not receive a Bonus Bets refund and the promo will be closed.
10. Cashed Out, Gaming, event specific Bonus Bets placed by selecting 'Use Bonus Bet' from the bet slip, bets placed on boosted odds, bets placed using Bonus Bets and bets deemed no action do not count.
11. Only one bet can be refunded as part of your promo. Only bets that have been selected as ‘Use Safety Net Bet’ will be refunded as part of this promo.
12. This bet will expire if not used prior to the qualifying event/competition finishing.
13. This promo cannot be used in conjunction with any other promo where qualifying conditions for both promos are met. For Early Payouts, if your qualifying bet is settled as a winner but would have naturally gone on to lose, this promo will not be applied.
Using Bonus Bets
14. Your Bonus Bets are non-withdrawable. Any returns from Bonus Bets wagers will be added to your Withdrawable Balance but Bonus Bets wagers are not included in any returns. For example, a $20 bet placed at odds of +200 would give a return of $60 ($40 winnings plus $20 wager), whereas a $20 Bonus Bets wager placed at odds of +200 would give a net return of $40, as the $20 Bonus Bets wager is not returned.
15. Wagers can be funded in part by your Bonus Bets and part with your Withdrawable Balance; however the Bonus Bets element of the wager will not be included in any returns. For example, a $20 bet placed at odds of +200 which was funded by $10 Bonus Bets and $10 cash would give a net return of $50 ($40 winnings plus $10 cash wager) as the $10 Bonus Bets wager would not be returned. If a bet is deemed no action and has had an opportunity to win (for example, in the event of a push), Bonus Bets wagers will not be returned. If a bet is deemed no action and has not had an opportunity to win (for example, when a Touchdown scorer bet is placed on a player who does not then take part in the game), Bonus Bets wagers will be returned.
16. For the purpose of Cash Out, the value displayed will already have the Bonus Bets wager removed and will be the actual return received if Cashed Out.
17. Your Bonus Bets cannot be:
- used as wagers on Teasers;
- used as wagers on Profit Boosts;
- used as wagers on Super Boosts;
- used as wagers on Bet Boosts.
18. Your Bonus Bets will expire 7 days after they are added to your Bonus Bets balance. If additional Bonus Bets are added to your Bonus Bets balance within this 7 day period, the total Bonus Bets balance will expire 7 days after the last addition.
19. Bets placed using Bonus Bets will not qualify for the following boost:
- Parlay Boost
General
20. These terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with our General Terms and Conditions.
21. Where any term of the offer or promotion is breached or there is any evidence of a series of bets placed by a customer or group of customers, which due to enhanced payments, Bonus Bet, Bonus Bets or any other promotional offer results in guaranteed customer profits irrespective of the outcome, whether individually or as part of a group, bet365 may reclaim the enhanced payment, Bonus Bet or Bonus Bets element of such offers and/or void any bet funded by the Bonus Bet or Bonus Bets. In addition, where there is evidence of such activity, bet365 may levy an administration charge on the customer up to the value of the Bonus Bets, Bonus Bet or enhanced payment towards the administrative costs incurred in identifying and taking action against the activity.
22. All customer offers are limited to one per person. If bet365 has reasonable grounds to suspect that the bonus or offer is being claimed by or for the benefit of the same person more than once or by a group of people then it may withdraw the availability of any offer or all offers to that customer or group of customers and/or void any bet funded by the bonus or offer and remove any winnings from such bet.
23. bet365 may reclaim any bonus amount, Bonus Bet, Bonus Bets or enhanced payments that have been awarded in error.
24. bet365 may, at any time, make minor amendments to this promotion to correct typographical errors or to improve on clarity or customer experience and may cancel this promotion for legal or regulatory reasons.
25. Employees, officers and directors of bet365, its promotional or other agencies, licensees and licensors, service providers and any other associated or affiliated companies shall not be eligible for the promotion. The same terms shall apply to the direct families of such persons.
