Cash Out gives you more control over your bets and offers you an opportunity to take a return before an event has finished. When this feature is available you can Cash Out a bet in its entirety or you can partially Cash Out your bet, whilst leaving the remainder of your stake to run.

With Cash Out, you no longer have to wait for your bet to reach its natural conclusion, you have the opportunity to track your selections and Cash Out at a point of your choice. You can also create a request for your bet to automatically Cash Out entirely or for a partial amount, where the Cash Out amount offered reaches a chosen value.

bet365 cannot guarantee that the Cash Out feature will be available on your bet selection. Where Cash Out is available pre-event and we do not cover or we stop covering the event In-Play, then Cash Out will be unavailable once the event starts or when In-Play coverage stops. Cash Out will not be available when a market is suspended.

The amount offered will depend on the performance of your selection(s) and may be higher or lower than your original stake enabling you to guarantee a profit or minimise a potential loss.

For further details regarding Cash Out and full Terms & Conditions please click here.

You can create a request for your bet to automatically Cash Out entirely or for a partial amount, where the Cash Out amount offered reaches a chosen value. The request even applies when you are logged out of your account.

To create a request to automatically Cash Out your bet, select the icon to the right of the Cash Out button on the Bet Slip in the My Bets section and then select Auto Cash Out. Next enter your Cash Out value and then select Create Rule.

The displayed Cash Out amounts are not guaranteed. Cash Out requests may be unsuccessful if, during the acceptance process, the market has been suspended or the odds used to calculate the Cash Out amount have changed. Occasionally we may suspend the availability of Cash Out due to circumstances beyond our control. If Cash Out is still suspended before the final result then your Auto Cash Out request will be settled on the final result as we have been unable to provide the facility.

Further details regarding Cash Out including the full Terms & Conditions can be found here.

The Cash Out feature is currently only available for certain markets. To check which bets you can Cash Out, select My Bets and the bets available for Cash Out will be displayed.

Using the Cash Out slider you can Cash Out part of your bet and leave the remaining stake to run.

When cashing out part of your bet for the first time and the Cash Out amount offered is greater than your stake, a stake label will display on the slider. This label highlights the exact slider position required to partially Cash Out your bet for an amount equal to your original stake amount, whilst leaving the remainder of the bet to run.

Alternatively, you can create a request for your bet to automatically Cash Out for a partial amount where the Cash Out amount offered reaches a chosen value. Further details regarding this feature can be found here.

Where available, the settings icon will display to the right of the Cash Out button within the My Bets section. To enable the Cash Out slider, simply select the icon and choose the amount you would like to Cash Out. The remaining stake will then be settled on the final result.

The option to Cash Out for a partial amount is available on single bets and straight accumulators only. It is not currently available for other multiple bet options.

bet365 has a dedicated Scores and Results service that can be accessed via the website. When logged in scroll down to the bottom of the homepage and select Results, alternatively if logged in on a computer, this section can be accessed here. This will present you with a dedicated Results page where you can search through our database of all markets using the filters provided.

Horse Racing and Greyhound results can be found from the betting coupon approximately ten minutes after the race is over, this is indicated by the abbreviation of R or RES which is displayed next to the race time.

We always try to settle bets as quickly as possible. For some events, official confirmation of the result is necessary before settlement takes place, which may cause a slight delay. We aim to settle all bets within an hour of the event finishing and In-Play bets during the event, where the result is available.

We have a dedicated Rules section which can be accessed via the Services drop down menu in the top right corner > Help > Rules, alternatively this information can be found here.

A Void settlement means that your stake has been returned to you. If you are unsure why your bet has been made Void we would advise you to check for further details on your bet confirmation or in the relevant sports rules section.

Your Bet Confirmation receipts can be located in History, when logged in select the Services drop down menu in the top right corner > History. Alternatively, if logged in on a computer this section can be found here.

Our Sports Rules can be located via the link in the Help main menu at the top of this page, or alternatively can be accessed here.

Should any of your selections not take part in an event and be deemed Void on your bet confirmation, which you can check via your account History, the following rules will apply:

For Singles your stake will be refunded, for Multiples the bet will stand and be settled on the remaining selections.

For example, if you placed a Treble and one selection is declared a Void, the bet will be settled on the remaining two selections as a Double.

There may be occasions where the returns from your bet differ slightly to those quoted at the time of bet placement. This can be due to reasons such as:

Rule 4 deduction: A Rule 4 deduction is applied to any winning bets where a participant withdraws after the time of bet placement and before the start of the event. The Rule 4 deduction is an industry standard and is used to reflect the reduced field. Further information on Rule 4 deductions can be found here.

Dead-Heat: A dead-heat is where two or more participants finish the event in a tied position, any bets on these participants are settled according to dead-heat rules. For example, if three participants contest first position in an event, all bets placed on any of the three participants are settled as winners at a third of the stake at the full odds quoted.

Obvious Error: This is when the odds or line quoted at the time of bet placement are clearly incorrect. After the error is rectified the bet is resettled at the correct odds. Further information on Obvious Errors can be found here.

Should your bet be affected by any one of these scenarios it will display as such on your bet confirmation. To review your bet confirmation please visit your account History. This can be accessed when logged in via the Services drop down menu in the top right corner > History, or alternatively, if logged in on a computer it can be found here.

If you are still unsure about your returns then please Contact Us.

There are maximum winnings limits that apply to bet365 bets within any 24 hour period and the limit will vary dependent on the different sports and events you have bet on. Where a multiple bet has been placed involving events with different maximum winnings limits then the lowest limit will apply.

To view our maximum winnings limits please refer to our Terms and Conditions section via the link at the bottom of this page, or alternatively they can be accessed here.

The Starting Price (SP) is the odds for a horse or greyhound at the time the race begins. This is an industry standard supplied to all bookmakers by the race track.

An Each-Way bet is a bet of twice the selected unit stake. It contains one bet for the selection to Win and one bet for the selection to Place. The Place part of your bet will be settled in accordance to the Place terms advertised for the event.

Whole line Asian Handicap bets are settled in much the same way as traditional Handicap bets. The exception being; stakes are returned if the match result is a draw after the Asian Handicap has been applied.
One key difference however, where bets are placed on an Asian Handicap In-Play, goals that have been awarded prior to bet placement are discounted for settlement purposes. The scoreline is treated as 0-0 at the time of bet placement. The odds of your selection and the choice of lines available will reflect this fact.

Consider the following scenarios:

Chelsea v PSG

Handicap Line Taken     Final Score (Chelsea - PSG)     Adjusted Final Score     Bet Outcome
Chelsea -1 3-1 2-1 Won
PSG +1 3-1 3-2 Lost
Chelsea -2 3-1 1-1 Push (Void)

Half Line Asian Handicaps

Half line Asian Handicaps rule out the possibility of a match ending in a draw after the Asian Handicap has been applied.

Consider the following scenarios:

Everton v Newcastle

Handicap Line Taken     Final Score (Everton - Newcastle)     Adjusted Final Score     Bet Outcome
Everton -0.5 1-0 0.5-0 Won
Newcastle +0.5 1-0 1-0.5 Lost

Newcastle +0.5

1-1 1-1.5 Won

Split Line Asian Handicaps

Stakes on Split Line Asian Handicaps (Quarter Line Asian Handicaps) are divided with half of the total stake going on the whole line Asian Handicap and half on the half line Asian Handicap.

Consider the following scenarios:

Liverpool v Man City

Handicap Line Taken    Final Score (Liverpool - Man City)    Adjusted Final Score    Adjusted Final Score    Bet Outcome
Half line Whole line
Liverpool -1.5, -2 3-1 1.5-1 1-1 Half Won / Half Push
Man City +0.5, +1 3-1 3-1.5 3-2 Lost / Lost
Liverpool -2.5, -2 3-1 0.5-1 1-1 Half Lost / Half Push

The Rule 4 deduction is an Industry standard where a quoted deduction is applied for every 1.00 unit of currency won.

When bookmakers offer odds on an event, they do so expecting all participants to take part. When a participant is withdrawn from an event a Rule 4 deduction is applied to all bets placed before the withdrawal, to reflect the reduced amount of competitors.

The size of the deduction is dependent on the odds of the withdrawn participant(s) at its time of withdrawal, the shorter the odds the larger the Rule 4 deduction.

The outcome of a Virtual event is determined by a Random Number Generator (RNG), which is independently tested and accredited before any of the games are released onto the bet365 website. Each competitor in a Virtual event is weighted according to the odds displayed. The competitors with the higher odds stand a lower chance of winning, but generate higher returns. The Return to Player % (RTP) of a Virtual game is also determined by the bet type. As an example, over a sustained period, a Win bet will pay out a higher RTP% than a Forecast bet.

The RTP% is measured over an extensive period (millions of plays by a large number of customers), and the results for any given player over a play session can vary widely from the long-term expected average, in either direction. The fewer the number of games played, the wider the normal variance of actual payback that may be experienced. It is therefore likely that in any individual series of plays, the payout percentage observed by a single player may vary, sometimes significantly, either in excess of the RTP% or below the RTP%.

We constantly audit the performance of our games against the RTP% they are designed to offer, in order to ensure that the total of all activity on the game awards our customers with a frequency and value of winnings that the game has been tested and certified to offer.
